Ultratech 9310 Ultra-Filter-Tex® is a high-performance sorbent and filter media available in a roll measuring 60 inches wide by 250 inches long. Designed to allow large volumes of water to pass through while effectively sorbing liquid hydrocarbons, including petroleum and both animal and vegetable oils, Ultra-Filter-Tex® is made from recycled synthetic fibers utilizing advanced technology that blends and processes these materials into a lightweight fiber mass. This mass features an enormous surface area and interstitial spaces, resulting in a durable and long-lasting product capable of absorbing an average of 13 times its weight in liquid hydrocarbons, with 85-90% of the sorbed oils reclaimable for reuse. Environmentally friendly and user-friendly, it does not leach harmful substances into the environment and produces minimal residue or ash when incinerated. Ultra-Filter-Tex® is ideal for applications in oil/water separators, stormwater and wastewater filtration systems, and water "polishing" processes.
