This 8-inch jointer is designed for accuracy and user-friendly operation, featuring a high-speed heat-treated steel knife cutterhead option, either a three knife or a helical cutterhead with four-sided knife inserts. The infeed table lever allows for rapid positioning of table height, followed by fine-tuning of cut depth with a handle. The fence tilting is facilitated by a worm gear system, smoothly operated through a handwheel, and provides 73" long extended support on tables mounted on dovetailed ways for enhanced workpiece stability. The operating switch is positioned high for easy accessibility, and the magnetic push blocks can be conveniently stored on any metallic surface. Additional features include a non-mar insert in the fence that protects the table from scratches during adjustments.
