The PM2700 shaper is designed to offer a comprehensive range of features, including an extra-large 30 x 40" precision-ground cast iron table that enhances stability and support. This machine is equipped with a heavy-duty miter gauge featuring an aluminum extruded support, providing excellent versatility. The built-in, omni-directional caster system (patent pending) allows for easy mobility and is retractable into the base for convenience. A quick-release lever facilitates fast speed and belt changes, while an industrial aluminum fence with multiple T-slots allows for the attachment of a wood face to create a no-clearance surface around any shaper or router bit. The fence includes fine adjustment dials, enabling users to lock it in place and make precise micro-adjustments on each side of the cutter. For enhanced precision, the PM2700 features a digital readout for the spindle height, allowing adjustments to within .001", which is essential for accurately aligning rail and stile cutters for raised panel doors.
