This 6" jointer features a helical cutterhead with 40 four-sided indexable carbide knife inserts, providing a superior finish and quieter operation compared to conventional cutterheads, with inserts that require no adjustment once installed. In case a knife insert is nicked, it can be easily rotated for a fresh edge. The jointer includes oversized adjustable infeed and outfeed tables, measuring 66" in length, mounted on dovetailed ways, which offer more working surface. The fence is 38" long with positive stops at 90° and 45° both right and left, facilitating quick positioning for bevel cuts. A fine/quick adjustment lever on the infeed table allows for precision-controlled depth of cut. The unit features a heavy steel stand that provides a sturdy base and incorporates a powerful 1 HP motor with a non-slip V-belt drive. Additionally, it has a 4" dust port for easy connection to dust collection systems. The jointer includes center-mounted fence controls for added convenience and is certified to meet compliance standards for safety and performance.
