Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber. The emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel, and all gas and electrical connections are located at the same end of the heater. This unit incorporates reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. It supports up to 40' of ducting for fresh air or 40' sidewall venting capability. The blower is situated inside the burner box and is optimized for applications requiring minimal noise, operating at less than 60dB. The system is equipped with a heavy-duty, permanently lubricated, ball-bearing blower motor for maintenance-free operation and highly efficient aluminum reflectors. Included components consist of a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, with options for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. The heater must be mounted as high as possible, adhering to minimum mounting heights recommended for human comfort and uniform energy distribution in complete building applications. The Tough Guy series is suitable for various high humidity environments, including car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns. This product is CSA certified and made in the USA. It comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
