Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss and spot heating applications, particularly suitable for installation in high humidity or corrosive environments. The kit includes emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel, with a vacuum system that pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber, enhancing radiant efficiency and safety. It features reliable direct spark ignition, 100% gas shut-off safety control, and can accommodate up to 50' of ducting for fresh air and 75' sidewall venting capability. The vacuum system offers a totally enclosed combustion chamber, and the heavy-duty draft inducer assembly is equipped with a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The heater also boasts highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required for operation. The Tough Guy series is particularly effective for applications in car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns. It is CSA certified and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, made in the USA.
