Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and suitable for installation in high humidity or corrosive environments. The kit includes emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel, a vacuum system that efficiently pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber for increased radiant efficiency and safety. It features reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control, with up to 50 feet of ducting in fresh air and 75 feet of sidewall venting capability. The vacuum system is equipped with a totally enclosed combustion chamber, and the heavy-duty draft inducer assembly includes a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. Highly efficient aluminum reflectors are part of the design, along with a diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and burner inspection sight glass. Additionally, there is a diagnostic monitoring light system, and a 120V supply is required. Minimum mounting heights are provided to ensure human comfort and uniform energy distribution for complete building applications, with recommendations to mount heaters as high as possible. The Tough Guy series is particularly suitable for car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity environments. It is CSA certified and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit. This product is made in the USA.
