Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for comprehensive building heating and can be installed in high humidity or corrosive environments. The emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel, and the vacuum system effectively pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber to enhance radiant efficiency and safety. The heaters feature reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. They offer up to 50' of ducting for fresh air and 75' for sidewall venting, with a totally enclosed combustion chamber. The heavy-duty draft inducer assembly includes a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation, complemented by highly efficient aluminum reflectors. The kit includes a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required for operation, and the minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution across building applications, with recommendations to mount the heaters as high as possible. The Tough Guy series is suitable for various high humidity environments such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns. This product is CSA certified, made in the USA, and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
