Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and offer fuel savings of up to 50%. They feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber, with emitter tubes constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas and electrical connections are located at the same end of the heater, enhancing convenience. The heaters incorporate reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control and support up to 40' of ducting for fresh air or sidewall venting. The blower, positioned inside the burner box, operates at a minimal noise level of less than 60dB, thanks to a heavy-duty permanently lubricated ball bearing motor that ensures maintenance-free operation. Highly efficient aluminum reflectors and a diaphragm air switch come standard, along with a heavy-duty cast iron burner and burner inspection sight glass. A diagnostic monitoring light system is included, with a requirement for a 120V supply and options for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. The heaters should be mounted as high as possible, with minimum mounting heights specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution, making them ideal for applications such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns, particularly in high humidity environments. This product is CSA certified and is manufactured in the USA, featuring a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
