Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and can be installed in high humidity or corrosive environments. The emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel, ensuring durability and efficiency. The vacuum system effectively pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber, enhancing radiant efficiency and safety, with reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control. These heaters offer up to 50 feet of ducting for fresh air and 75 feet of sidewall venting capability, featuring a totally enclosed combustion chamber. The heavy-duty draft inducer assembly is equipped with a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. Highly efficient aluminum reflectors are included, along with a diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass. A diagnostic monitoring light system is also part of the design, and a 120V supply is required. Minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution across complete building applications, with recommendations to mount heaters as high as possible. The Tough Guy series is particularly suited for car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity environments. This product is CSA certified and made in the USA, backed by a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
