Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and offer fuel savings of up to 50%. The heaters feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber, and the emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas and electrical connections are located at the same end of the heater, ensuring convenience during installation. They are equipped with reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control, with the capability to accommodate up to 40' of ducting for fresh air or 40' sidewall venting. The blower, which operates at a noise level of less than 60dB, is located inside the burner box and utilizes a heavy-duty, permanently lubricated ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The heaters are fitted with highly efficient aluminum reflectors and come with a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass. Additional features include a diagnostic monitoring light system and the requirement for a 120V supply. They offer external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. It is recommended to mount the heaters as high as possible to ensure human comfort and uniform energy distribution. The Tough Guy series is particularly suited for car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high-humidity environments. The heaters are CSA certified and come with a 5-year limited warranty on the tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit. This product is made in the USA.
