Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss areas or spot heating, offering fuel savings up to 50%. The positive pressure system actively pressurizes the combustion chamber, while the emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are located at the same end of the heater, ensuring ease of access. The unit features reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. It supports up to 40 feet of ducting in fresh air or 40 feet of sidewall venting capability. The blower is positioned inside the burner box to minimize noise levels to less than 60 dB, and it includes a heavy-duty, permanently lubricated ball bearing blower motor for maintenance-free operation. Highly efficient aluminum reflectors enhance performance, and the package includes a diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. The heater operates on a 120V supply and allows for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation.
