The Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss areas or spot heating, offering fuel savings of up to 50%. They feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber, and the emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are conveniently located at one end of the heater. The system includes reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control, with capabilities for up to 40' of ducting for fresh air or 40' sidewall venting. The blower is situated inside the burner box to ensure minimal noise levels (less than 60 dB), and it comes equipped with a heavy-duty, permanently lubricated ball-bearing blower motor for maintenance-free operation. The heater also features highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, a burner inspection sight glass, and a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, along with options for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. The Tough Guy series is particularly suitable for applications such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high-humidity environments. This product is CSA certified and is made in the USA, offering a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
