Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and are suitable for installation in high humidity or corrosive environments. The kit includes emitter tubes made of heat treated aluminized steel, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with diagnostic monitoring lights. The vacuum system enhances radiant efficiency by pulling products of combustion through a totally enclosed combustion chamber, featuring reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control. The heater supports up to 50' of ducting for fresh air and 75' of sidewall venting capability. Additionally, the heavy duty draft inducer assembly incorporates a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation, complemented by highly efficient aluminum reflectors. The installation requires a 120V supply, and the minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution in various applications such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, waste water treatment plants, and dairy barns. The Tough Guy series is CSA certified and made in the USA, with a 5 year limited warranty on tubes and a 1 year limited warranty on the unit.
