Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and can be installed in high humidity or corrosive environments. The kit includes emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel, equipped with a vacuum system that pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber to enhance radiant efficiency and safety. Key features include reliable direct spark ignition, 100% gas shut-off safety control, and the capability to accommodate up to 50 feet of ducting for fresh air and 75 feet for sidewall venting. The vacuum system is designed with a totally enclosed combustion chamber, and it incorporates a heavy-duty draft inducer assembly with a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. Additionally, the heaters feature highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, and the minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution. These heaters are ideal for applications such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns. The product is CSA certified and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, all made in the USA.
