Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating, offering fuel savings of up to 50%. These heaters feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber and are constructed with heat-treated aluminized steel emitter tubes. All gas and electrical connections are conveniently located at the same end of the heater, ensuring easy installation. The reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control enhance safety, while the unit supports up to 40' of ducting for fresh air or sidewall venting capability. A blower located inside the burner box operates at minimal noise levels (less than 60dB) and utilizes a heavy-duty, permanently lubricated, ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The highly efficient aluminum reflectors improve performance, and the kit includes a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and burner inspection sight glass. A diagnostic monitoring light system is also provided. The heater requires a 120V supply and offers options for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. Minimum mounting heights are recommended for human comfort and uniform energy distribution, with installation advised as high as possible. The Tough Guy series is especially suited for environments such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns, which typically have high humidity levels.
