The fume hood kit offers an economical solution for laboratories with limited space, making it ideal for additional hood space and student workstations. It requires less exhaust air to be drawn from the lab and features durable one-piece construction with all coved corners for easy cleaning. The unit is completely molded from corrosion and chemical-resistant, fire-retardant composite resin and is equipped with a vapor-proof light fixture and switch for a bright, glare-free work area. The kit includes a 6ft 3-wire power cord, a vertical sliding clear acrylic sash that is fully adjustable for easy access into the fume chamber, and a built-in work surface. It has a 6" diameter outlet collar and a convenient control switch wired to a single-point junction 115V box. The ergonomic air foil design allows air to sweep across the work surface, maintaining uniform airflow. All electrical services meet U.L and C.S.A. approval standards. The unit is shipped completely assembled; however, it does not include an exhaust blower, which is required for operation.
