The kit provides an economical solution for laboratories with limited space, ideal for additional hood space and student workstations, requiring less exhaust air to be drawn from the lab. It features a durable one-piece construction with all coved corners for easy cleaning and is completely molded from corrosion and chemical-resistant, fire-retardant composite resin. The unit is equipped with a vapor-proof light fixture and switch, ensuring a bright, glare-free work area. It includes a 6 ft 3-wire power cord, a vertical sliding clear acrylic sash that is fully adjustable for easy access into the fume chamber, and a built-in work surface. The kit also comes with a 6" diameter outlet collar and a convenient control switch wired to a single point junction 115V box. An ergonomic air foil is designed to allow air to sweep across the work surface and maintain uniform airflow. All electrical services are U.L and C.S.A. approved, and the unit is shipped completely assembled; however, it does not include an exhaust blower and requires a remote blower.
