The Hemco® Vented Demonstration Hood measures 35" W x 24" D x 30" H and offers students a full 360° viewing experience. Constructed with a clear anodized aluminum frame and shatterproof clear acrylic rear and side panels, this demonstration hood features a chemical-resistant fiberglass control shroud that isolates the integral blower. The unit includes a vapor-proof incandescent light fixture and wiring, ensuring safety and durability. The viewing height through the panels is 24", and experiments can be observed safely from the sides and back. The sash can be configured as either a hinged viewing sash or a horizontal sliding sash for easy access. The motor housing is made of chemical-resistant, flame-retardant fiberglass, and the integral motor blower, equipped with a front-mounted switch, operates at 115 volts and 60 hertz, providing a performance of 120 CFM at 0.4" static pressure. A power cord is included for immediate operation and must be connected to an exhaust system. The recommended work access area should maintain a face velocity of 80 - 100 FPM.
