The Hemco® Microflow I ductless workstation measures 12"W x 18"D x 14-1/2"H and is designed as a Class 1 ductless hood workstation, featuring activated carbon filtration for the removal of fumes, odors, and non-hazardous chemical vapors, along with a pre-filter for particulates. This self-contained unit comes with a clear hood surround and safety viewing sash for user protection, while the integral work surface is dished to contain spills. The workstation includes a variable speed fan control that ranges from a high speed of 100 FPM to a minimum airflow for sensitive operations. It operates on either 115V AC / 60Hz or 230V AC / 50Hz, conforming to UL, CSA, and CE requirements. Additionally, it features a 6-ft electrical cord that connects and disconnects at the left rear side, with the cord exiting from the left side. The dimensions ensure easy access with hands, and the filter can be removed and replaced inside the fume chamber for enhanced user safety. Typical applications for the workstation include general chemistry involving small volumes of common chemicals, tissue staining and processing, gluing and drying operations, solvent cleaning of electronic parts, soldering fumes and odors, school demonstration workstations, and containment of forensic applications. Replacement carbon filters (pack of 2, part# 52005) are available by special order.
