The CVJ series consists of seven enclosure sizes ranging from 6" x 6" to 18" x 16", with varying depths and configurations. These enclosures are crafted from corrosion-resistant hot compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, featuring transparent Lexan windows and are halogen-free. The "HWLL" models include one or two stainless steel twist latches to secure one side of the cover to the base, and a stainless steel piano hinge for the other side. Rivets connect the hinge to the cover, and self-tapping screws attach the base. The components are light gray (RAL7035) and come with UL/CSA labels, along with four threaded inserts for a mounting plate, while cover screw holes are located outside the gasketed area. Continuous gaskets made of polyurethane foam ensure optimal integrity, and the enclosure can be modified using standard tools such as drills, mills, saws, and punches. The enclosures can endure continuous temperatures from -58°F to 302°F (-50°C to 150°C) and momentary exposures up to 392°F (200°C). The CVJ enclosures without latches offer enhanced security with double insulation and an IP66-11 protection degree according to IEC 529. They are maintenance-free, corrosion-resistant, and UL listed as per UL Standard 508 type 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12, and 13, in addition to being CSA approved as per C22.2 No. 94. These enclosures are ideal for use as electrical junction boxes or instrumentation enclosures in highly corrosive environments such as oil refineries, chemical processing plants, wastewater treatment facilities, marine installations, electroplating plants, agricultural settings, and food or animal processing plants, and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
