The 3M™ FX Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator with Scotchgard Protector, Large, is engineered for maximum comfort, durability, and visibility. This respirator is the only model featuring Scotchgard™ Protector and includes soft yet durable silicone material along with a large lens that provides superior peripheral vision. The 3M™ Ultimate FX Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator FF-400 series is designed as 3M's most rugged facepiece, suitable for extreme environments while delivering superior comfort and an exceptional field of view. It has an ergonomic, streamlined design for lightweight, balanced comfort, with a bayonet connection type. Key comfort features include a comfort head cradle to reduce pressure points, a soft silicone nose cup and faceseal, and a 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve that permits easier breathing and cool, dry comfort. The large lens ensures excellent peripheral vision, and the low-profile bayonet cartridge attachments improve balance and weight distribution. For durability and security, the respirator features a long-lasting head harness tested for over one million pulls, a six-strap configuration for a secure fit, and a silicone nose cup and faceseal engineered for maximum resilience. The lens is paint and stain-resistant due to 3M's exclusive Scotchgard™ coating, which allows paints and stains to bead on the surface for easy cleaning. Additionally, the Scotchgard™ semi-permanent lens cover offers longer-lasting protection compared to standard tear-aways. The respirator attachments are designed for easy twist-on and off, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly, while bonded silicone gaskets eliminate the risk of loose gaskets being lost.
