The W-Series direct heat foot-operated sealer is designed to seal a variety of thermoplastic materials, including coated aluminum foil, kraft paper, cellophane, polypropylene, and poly-nylon, among others, with the exception of polyethylene. The model W-300DTS features serrated seal bars and can handle materials up to 18 inches wide and 20 mil in total thickness. It boasts a German manufactured thermostat that effectively controls temperatures ranging from 30° to 550° F (0° to 300° C). Both jaws are heated simultaneously, ensuring better heat penetration for sealing thicker materials. Each sealer in the W-Series is accompanied by an adjustable work table and includes a pedestal stand of 26 inches in height, with an optional 36-inch stand available. The operation is straightforward: set the desired temperature on the thermostat or thermo-controller based on the material, and once the optimal temperature is achieved, it will maintain consistent seals automatically. To use, simply insert the material between the sealing bars, press down on the footboard, and release.
