The Omni Metalcraft power belt conveyor features 6" high side rails and is shipped complete with controls, making it a versatile solution for handling a variety of products in your facility. It is ideal for applications such as assembly, sorting, and inspection. The conveyor includes 6"H side rails to prevent cargo from falling during movement, and it is constructed with a 3-1/2"D x 12 gauge galvanized steel slider bed featuring a black friction surface PVC belt. The design includes permanent adjustable leg supports that can be adjusted from 34" to 38" in height for convenience. The standard belt speed is 60 FPM, with a totally enclosed 1/2 HP, 115/230V, 60 Hz single-phase motor. It comes with an 8 ft. power cord and an on/off switch for 115V use. Key quality features include crowned and fully lagged 4" drive and tail pulleys with 1-3/16" diameter shafts, a 2-1/2" diameter snub roller, 1.9" diameter return rollers, and pre-lubricated, self-aligning ball bearings. Reversible conveyors and replacement parts are available upon request, and an optional variable speed motor (12-60 FPM) upgrade is offered for additional flexibility, along with an optional horsepower upgrade to increase capacity. The load capacity is stated in pounds uniformly distributed over length with a breakdown based on belt width: for a 12"W belt, the standard 1/2 HP motor supports a load of 250 lbs, while the optional 3/4 HP and 1 HP motors support 500 lbs and a maximum of 1, respectively. For a 20"-24"W belt, the 1/2 HP motor supports a load of 160 lbs, with the optional 3/4 HP and 1 HP motors supporting 390 lbs and a maximum of 1, respectively.
