The optional 3/4 HP upgrade for the Omni Metalcraft power belt conveyor features a totally enclosed single-phase motor designed for 115/230V, 60 Hz operation. This upgrade includes an 8 ft. power cord and an on/off switch for ease of use with 115V applications. Notable attributes of the motor include crowned and fully lagged 4" drive and tail pulleys, equipped with 1-3/16" diameter shafts. The conveyor operates at a speed of 60 feet per minute (FPM) and allows for increased load capacities compared to the standard 1/2 HP motor. It is important to note that this upgrade is not a standalone motor and must be purchased alongside a compatible conveyor. The load capacity for a 12” wide belt is 500 lbs, while for a 20-24” wide belt, it is 390 lbs, with specifications for horsepower load capacities as follows: for a 12"W belt, the 1/2 HP standard motor supports 250 lbs, the 3/4 HP optional motor supports 500 lbs, the 1 HP optional motor supports 740 lbs, the 1-1/2 HP optional motor supports 1230 lbs, and the 2 HP optional motor supports 1680 lbs; for a 20" - 24"W belt, the 1/2 HP standard motor supports 160 lbs, the 3/4 HP optional motor supports 390 lbs, the 1 HP optional motor supports 640 lbs, the 1-1/2 HP optional motor supports 1090 lbs, and the 2 HP optional motor supports 1580 lbs.
