The overall height is 98 inches, and back-to-wall shelters feature three walls for installation against existing building walls. Designed in a modular format, these shelters simplify construction and assembly can typically be completed in 4-6 hours by two qualified individuals. The lightweight 1-1/2" square tube framing is acid-etched and polyester epoxy powder coated for increased resilience. The robust 1/4" thick cast acrylic glazing has UV protection and a 10-year color-fast guarantee. The fiberglass reinforced polyester resin roof provides both shade in sunlight and structural strength during snow loads, featuring an integral gutter along its length with a gel-coated exterior matching the frame. All sizes require a solid base for stability, and the shelters are delivered flat-packed on a pallet with comprehensive assembly instructions. Note that due to Florida building codes, the wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, necessitating site-specific engineered drawings and additional costs for certain shelters when sold in Florida.
