The super strong 4-sided smoking shelter features a tough yet lightweight black steel frame with a clear curved roof and clear side panels, designed for easy assembly by bolting together, thus creating a designated freestanding smoking area compliant with smoking ban legislation. The mild steel frame, with a tube size of 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/32", is shot blasted, zinc coated, and proxy/polyester powder coated to enhance durability. The roof is supported by curved mild steel beams and constructed with 5/8" cellular multiwall polycarbonate, providing strong durability, high impact resistance, and a UV protective coating. The side panels are made from mild steel and pre-glazed with surface fixing rivets using 3/16" super strong polycarbonate glazing, also with UV protective coating. A 10-year warranty against discoloration on the roof and side panels is included, and the shelter requires a solid, level base for fixing. Once the base is prepared, assembly typically takes 4 - 6 hours for two qualified workers, with all mounting fixings supplied. The shelter is delivered flat-packed on a pallet with complete instructions for assembly. It is important to note that due to Florida building code regulations, the wind-load requirement in Florida ranges from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida without additional engineering services for compliance.
