The UV-protected fiberglass roof offers 6'6" of headroom, while an open front panel on the right side facilitates easy access. With an overall height of 98", back-to-wall shelters are designed with three walls for installation against an exterior building wall. The modular design allows for simplified assembly, typically completed in 4-6 hours by two individuals. The frame is made from lightweight 1-1/2" square tube aluminum, acid-etched, and polyester epoxy powder coated for enhanced durability. The glazing comprises robust 1/4" thick cast acrylic with UV coating, guaranteed to remain color-fast for 10 years, while the roof is made from glass fiber reinforced polyester resin, providing shade and structural strength. Each shelter includes an integral gutter and requires a solid base for stability, with availability in seven sizes. It's important to note that due to Florida building code regulations, the wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph; thus, some shelters cannot be sold in Florida, and any sold will necessitate additional engineering services along with site-specific engineered drawings.
