The shelters are modular, facilitating construction that can be completed in just a few hours by two people, and are ideal for placement away from existing walls. Key features include a frame made from durable, rust-proof aluminum, lightweight 1-1/2" square tube construction, acid-etched and polyester epoxy powder coating for enhanced durability, and robust 1/4" thick cast acrylic with a 10-year color-fast guarantee. The roof consists of fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin, which is lightweight yet strong, providing shade in sunlight and resilience in snowy conditions. Each shelter comes equipped with an integral gutter along its length, a gel-coated exterior that matches the frame, and a non-gel-coated interior that includes glass fiber matting for sealing. All sizes are freestanding and require a solid base for stability, with assembly time typically taking 4-6 hours for qualified workers. These shelters are delivered flat-packed on a pallet with detailed assembly instructions. Note that due to Florida building codes, the wind-load requirements range from 130 mph to 180 mph, and some shelters cannot be sold in Florida; those sold in Florida will necessitate additional engineering services.
