The kit is made of prime grade cold rolled steel with a powder coat finish for lasting durability. It includes 18" W x 12" H box lockers that provide permanent storage for books, supplies, gear, and equipment, alongside a large 18" W x 60" H locker ideal for clothing storage. The 8 person lockers comprise 2 large lockers and 8 box lockers. The welded door frames utilize mortise and tenon construction for strength, while the 16 gauge steel doors are louvered for ventilation and equipped with 5-knuckle hinges for increased durability. The large lockers feature a die-cast latching handle for quick operation, spring-loaded latch clips, 2 single prong coat hooks, and a garment bar for wardrobe storage. Latch channels incorporate unique nylon glides, and latch hooks include rubber bumpers to minimize noise and ensure quiet functionality. Box lockers are secured with a padlockable friction hasp and latch (locks sold separately). The legs add 6" to the height, bringing the overall height to 78". The dimensions of the entire unit are 54" W x 18" D x 72" H, with a total of 10 openings in a burgundy color. Note that effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a consistent color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also have uniform color. Other color finishes for Vanguard and Guardian will feature common champagne color body parts. Single solid colors are available with longer lead times and an additional charge.
