The kit includes a double tier locker designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use, featuring a right-hand butt hinge that is recessed into the doorframe to prevent the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings utilize mortis and tenon construction with spot welding for enhanced rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, and the padded strikes help dampen closing noise. A recessed handle provides a smooth, catch-free front while protecting padlocks from tampering. Latching channels are equipped with nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. This locker incorporates a 2-point latching system (top and bottom) and has legs that add 6 inches to its height, with a recommendation to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. It features a durable powder coat finish. Effective March 1, 2021, champagne color-finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain the same color throughout, while gray color-finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also feature consistent color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian include common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors available upon request but subject to longer lead times and additional charges.
