Penco lockers with recessed handle double tier assembled include a variety of features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings are constructed with mortise and tenon joinery, reinforced with spot welding for added rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while padded strikes dampen closing noise. The recessed handle offers a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Each locker features latching channels equipped with nylon glides to minimize noise during operation. This double tier locker boasts a 2-point latching system (top and bottom) and has legs that add 6 inches to its height. It is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for enhanced safety. The lockers are finished with a durable powder coat. Please note that effective March 1, 2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers will maintain the same color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers will also be consistent in color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will have common champagne color body parts. Single solid colors are available for those willing to accept longer lead times and an additional charge.
