Penco lockers with recessed handle, single tier assembled, include various features designed for secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe to prevent tampering with the hinge pin. Each door opening is constructed with mortise and tenon joints, complemented by spot welding for enhanced rigidity. A continuous door strike ensures secure closure, while padded strikes help to dampen closing noise. The lockers are equipped with a recessed handle that provides a smooth, catch-free front and protects padlocks from tampering. Latching channels with nylon glides minimize sound during operation. These single tier lockers feature 3-point latching (top, bottom, and sides), and the legs add 6 inches to the height. It is advised to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers come with a powder coat finish. Additionally, as of March 1, 2021, champagne color-finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a uniform color throughout, while gray color-finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are also uniform. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian have common champagne body parts, with single solid colors available for longer lead times and an additional charge.
