Penco lockers with recessed handle double tier - ready to assemble include various features to ensure secure, reliable, and quiet use. The right-hand butt hinge is recessed into the doorframe, preventing the hinge pin from being forced out or tampered with. All door openings feature mortise and tenon construction with spot welding for added rigidity. The continuous door strike ensures secure closure, and strikes are equipped with padding to dampen closing noise. The recessed handle provides a smooth, catch-free front, protecting padlocks from tampering. Latching channels have nylon glides to minimize sound during operation. This double tier locker incorporates 2-point latching (top and bottom) and legs that add 6 inches to the height. It is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers also feature a durable powder coat finish. Please note that effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers are uniform in color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers are also consistent in color. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian may have common champagne color body parts, and single solid colors are available with longer lead times and an additional charge.
