The kit is made of prime grade cold rolled steel with a powder coat finish for long-lasting durability. It includes 18" W x 12" H box lockers that provide permanent storage of books, supplies, gear, and equipment, as well as a large 18" W x 60" H locker ideal for clothing storage. The 7 person lockers consist of one large locker and seven box lockers. The welded door frames feature mortise and tenon construction for strength, while the 16 gauge steel doors are louvered for ventilation and utilize 5-knuckle hinges for increased strength. Large lockers include a die-cast latching handle for quick and easy operation, spring-loaded latch clips, two single prong coat hooks, and a garment bar for wardrobe storage. Latch channels are equipped with unique nylon glides, and latch hooks include rubber bumpers to reduce noise and offer quiet operation. Box lockers feature a padlockable friction hasp and latch for security (locks sold separately). The legs add 6" to the height, resulting in an overall size of 78" H. The dimensions of the lockers are 36" W x 18" D x 72" H, and there are a total of eight openings. The color is champagne, with a note that effective 3/01/2021, champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers remain the same color throughout, while gray color finished only Quick Ship Vanguard lockers have the same color throughout. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian will have common champagne color body parts, and single solid colors are available with longer lead times and an additional charge. The kit includes number plates, and it is important to specify the number at the time of order.
