SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations with raceways allow convenient storage of wires and cables while maintaining an attractive, professional appearance, ideal for reception rooms and security areas. Reception counters and work surfaces are made using 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, with a 12"D reception counter providing a convenient writing surface for guests and visitors while maintaining receptionist privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings, and desk framing is made of black finished steel for lasting strength. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions that help reduce noise and create privacy, with flame retardant panels meeting the California 117 flammability standard. The 1-3/4" thick fabric upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and honeycomb core covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support. Panel trim is finished with self-extinguishing extruded polymer for optimum safety and rigidity. Panels include 4"H black powder coated steel raceways with cable management openings for phone and data cables, and removable raceway covers allow easy wiring access. A non-electric raceway option includes a basic raceway without cabling. The station includes adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces and features a U-shaped design with a 72"W desk. Desks accept installation of optional storage options (sold separately), including pedestal file, keyboard drawer, and mouse tray. The unit offers easy assembly and comes with a 1-year warranty.
