SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations with raceways provide convenient storage for wires and cables while maintaining a professional appearance, making them ideal for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed from 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, with a 12" deep reception counter offering a convenient writing surface for guests while preserving receptionist privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings, and the desk framing is made of black finished steel for durability. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions designed to reduce noise and provide privacy; the panels are flame retardant, meeting the California 117 flammability standard. The 1-3/4" thick fabric-upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame with a honeycomb core covered by a heavy tackable liner for structural support, trimmed with self-extinguishing extruded polymer for optimal safety and rigidity. Panels incorporate 4" high black powder-coated steel raceways with cable management openings for phone and data cables, and removable raceway covers allow easy wiring access; non-electric raceways include a basic raceway without cabling. The station includes adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces. The L-shaped reception station comprises a 36" corner desk and two 36" wide by 24" deep returns. Desks accept installation of optional storage options sold separately, such as pedestal files, keyboard drawers, and mouse trays. The unit offers easy assembly and comes with a 1-year warranty.
