SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them ideal for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed with 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, with a 12"D reception counter providing a convenient writing surface for guests and visitors while maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. The desk framing is made of black finished steel for lasting strength. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions that reduce noise and create privacy; these 1-3/4" thick fabric upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and honeycomb core covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support. The panel trim is finished with self-extinguishing extruded polymer for optimum safety and rigidity, and the panels are flame retardant to meet the California 117 flammability standard. Adjustable leveling feet are included for use on uneven surfaces. The U-shaped reception station includes a 48"W desk and a 60"W desk, both designed to accept optional storage options (sold separately) such as pedestal file units, keyboard drawers, and mouse trays. The product features easy assembly and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
