SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them ideal for reception rooms and security areas. Reception counters and work surfaces are constructed with 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate. The 12" deep reception counter provides a convenient writing surface for guests and visitors while maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. Desk framing is made of black finished steel for durability. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions that help reduce noise and create privacy; these panels are flame retardant and meet the California 117 flammability standard. The 1-3/4" thick fabric-upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and a honeycomb core covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support. Panel trim is finished with self-extinguishing extruded polymer for safety and rigidity. The unit includes adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces. The L-shaped reception station includes a 36" corner desk, a 36"W x 24"D return, and a 72"W desk. Desks accept installation of optional storage options (sold separately) such as a pedestal file, keyboard drawer, and mouse tray. The station offers easy assembly and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
