SC Preferred® by SC Preferred reception stations are designed for strength, functionality, and convenience, making them ideal for reception rooms and security areas. The reception counters and work surfaces are constructed from 1" thick scratch-resistant laminate, with a 12" depth providing a convenient writing surface for guests while maintaining personnel privacy. Desktops include 2-3/16" diameter cable management grommet openings. The desk framing is made of black finished steel for durable strength. Reception station panels consist of SC Preferred® partitions that help reduce noise and create privacy; these panels are flame retardant to meet the California 117 flammability standard. The 1-3/4" thick fabric upholstered panels feature an interior engineered wood (MDF) frame and a honeycomb core covered with a heavy tackable liner for structural strength and support. Panel trim is finished with self-extinguishing extruded polymer for optimum safety and rigidity. The stations include adjustable leveling feet suitable for uneven surfaces. The L-shaped reception station includes a 36" corner desk, a 36"W x 24"D return, and a 72"W desk. Desks accept installation of optional storage options, including pedestal files, keyboard drawers, and mouse trays (sold separately). The reception station offers easy assembly and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
