The Bluff® Steel Forklift Yard Ramp provides efficient forklift or pallet truck access to freight without requiring dock bays, facilitating loading and unloading trucks and trailers at areas without docks (ground to truck) as well as from dock level to ground. It features an all-welded, heavy-duty formed steel frame with cross members and side girders, a beveled diamond plate steel approach for smooth transition, and an open serrated steel grating ramp surface that offers superior traction while reducing dirt, rain, and snow build-up. The yard ramp is equipped with a double-action hydraulic lift pump and 18" diameter solid rubber wheels for easy movement and positioning, along with safety locking chains to secure the ramp to docks or trailers. It includes 8"H curbs to help keep trucks and forklifts on the ramp, and 36' length ramps have a 6' level-off zone at the top for safe dock-to-ground or truck-to-ground access. Ramp clamp style ramps feature integral forklift tine insertion points for short-distance movement. Bluff® also offers solid steel deck approach plates at both ends to provide a smooth transition and extend ramp life, contrasting with competitor models that use open grating at both ends which can cause bearing bar failure.
