The Bluff® steel forklift yard ramp provides easy forklift or pallet truck access to freight without requiring dock bays, facilitating loading and unloading of trucks and trailers at locations without docks, as well as from dock level to the ground. This yard ramp features an all-welded, heavy-duty formed steel frame with cross members and side girders, while the beveled diamond plate steel approach ensures a smooth transition. Its open serrated steel grating ramp surface enhances traction while minimizing dirt, rain, and snow accumulation. The ramp includes a double-action hydraulic lift pump and 18" diameter solid rubber wheels for efficient movement and positioning. Safety locking chains are provided to secure the ramp to the dock or trailer. The design incorporates 8"H curbs to keep trucks and forklifts on the ramp, and the 36'L ramps feature a 6'L level-off zone at the top for safe access. Tow bar style ramps allow for quick hook-up and easy towing over long distances. Additionally, Bluff® offers solid steel deck approach plates at both ends to provide a smooth transition and enhance the ramp's durability, addressing potential issues seen in competitor units that utilize open grating.
