The Bluff® heavy duty steel dock board with lock pins is a forkliftable dock board designed for easy and adjustable positioning between truck and dock. It features fold-down lifting loops that allow a forklift to transport and position the board, and includes two 1" diameter positioning pins along with two 4-position pin pockets on each side for exact and secure placement between the dock and the truck. Constructed entirely from welded steel, this dock board is suitable for high traffic cycle and multiple shift docks. The board includes one 7° bend located 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend located 8" from the truck end. It complies with OSHA specification 1910.30(a) and ANSI specification MH30.2. The capacity rating represents the combined weight of the maximum pallet load and lift truck, is rated for a single shift, and assumes equipment speeds up to 3 mph. The width of the board should be 12" greater than the lift truck or load, with a usable width 6" less than the overall width. Stackers and other narrow aisle loaders are not recommended for use on this dock board, and refrigerated trucks require special dock boards, available upon request. The application height allows for up to 7" above dock or 3" below dock when used with propane or gas forklifts, and up to 5" above dock or 3" below dock with electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
