The Bluff® heavy-duty steel dock board with lock pins is designed for easy and adjustable positioning between a truck and dock. This dock board features fold-down lifting loops that allow a forklift to transport and position it effortlessly. It includes two 1" diameter positioning pins and two 4-position pin pockets on each side for precise and secure placement. Constructed entirely from welded steel, this dock board is well-suited for high traffic cycle and multiple shift applications. It has one 7° bend 17" from the dock end and one 9° bend 8" from the truck end. The dock board complies with OSHA spec. 1910.30(a) and ANSI spec. MH30.2, with a capacity rated for a single shift, accommodating the combined weight of your maximum pallet load and lift truck, with equipment speeds not exceeding 3 mph. The width of the board should be 12" greater than that of the lift truck or load, and the usable width is 6" less than the overall width. It is important to note that stackers and other narrow aisle loaders should not be used on a dock board, and special dock boards are required for refrigerated trucks. The application height can reach up to 15" above the dock or 6.5" below for propane or gas forklifts, and up to 12" above the dock or 6.5" below for electric forklifts or pallet jacks.
