The locker kit ensures secure, reliable, and quiet use, featuring spot welding on all door openings for added rigidity and louvers for ventilation. It includes continuous door strikes for secure closure, with rubber padding to dampen closing noise, and five knuckle hinges for enhanced strength. The legs add 6 inches to the height of the lockers, which are designed with a stainless steel recessed handle that allows for a smooth, catch-free front while protecting padlocks from tampering. The latching channels incorporate nylon glides to minimize sound during operation, and the lockers utilize a 2-point latching system at the top and bottom. For safety, it is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall. The lockers feature a durable powder coat finish, and customers can specify the color suffix as gray (GY) or champagne (CA). It is noted that effective March 1, 2021, the champagne color finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers will maintain a consistent color throughout, while gray color finished quick ship Vanguard lockers will also have a uniform appearance. Additional color finishes in the Vanguard and Guardian lines will utilize common champagne color body parts, with single solid colors being available at longer lead times and with an additional charge.
