The lockers ensure secure, reliable, and quiet use, featuring spot welding at all door openings for rigidity and louvers for ventilation. They are equipped with continuous door strikes to ensure secure closure, complemented by strikes that feature rubber padding to dampen closing noise. The design includes 5 knuckle hinges for added strength, while the legs add 6 inches to the overall height. These triple tier lockers incorporate a stainless steel recessed handle that offers a smooth, catch-free front, protecting padlocks from tampering. The latching channels are fitted with nylon glides to minimize sound during operation, and the lockers feature 2-point latching (top and bottom) for enhanced security. It is recommended to anchor the lockers to the floor and/or wall for safety. The lockers have a durable powder coat finish, with available colors including gray (GY) or champagne (CA). Effective 3/01/2021, champagne color-finished Vanguard and Guardian lockers maintain a consistent color throughout, while gray color-finished quick ship Vanguard lockers also feature uniform coloring. Other color finishes in Vanguard and Guardian lockers may include champagne-colored body parts, with single solid colors available at longer lead times and additional charges.
