The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter measures 96"W x 36"D x 96"H and is designed to provide versatility for warehouses handling a variety of product types. This pre-configured starter unit comprises two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, with components manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials. The tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column allow for shelf adjustment at 2-inch increments, while the upright frames feature a green powder coat finish for a durable and even coat. Standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams are equipped with a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, preventing accidental beam displacement and ensuring a secure connection that maximizes total capacity. The 1-5/8" step within the orange pallet rack beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. The system allows for easy expansion through the addition of Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack add-on units and features simple assembly. It is interchangeable with products from Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity is determined based on 36" beam shelf spacing, and the units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
