The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop add-on measures 96"W x 36"D x 96"H and is designed to enhance flexibility in warehouses that manage a diverse range of product types. This pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels. Constructed from high-strength steel and other quality materials, the pallet rack upright frames feature tear drop perforations allowing for shelf adjustments at 2" increments, while the frames are finished with a durable green powder coat. The standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring, and the orange pallet rack beams come with a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, protecting against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof locking system ensures a secure connection and maximizes total capacity, while the 1-5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and various accessories. The assembly process is straightforward, and the system is interchangeable with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. These add-on units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
