The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop add-on measures 108"W x 36"D x 120"H and is designed to enhance versatility in warehouses with diverse product types. This pre-configured add-on unit includes one upright frame and two beam shelf levels. The pallet rack upright frames and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and feature tear drop perforations for shelf adjustments at 2" increments. The frames have a green powder coat finish for durability, while standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, preventing accidental displacement and ensuring a secure and tamper-proof connection. The design accommodates a 1-5/8" step within the beams for compatibility with wire decking and other accessories, ensuring easy assembly. This unit is interchangeable with systems from Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible, with capacity evaluated based on 36" beam shelf spacing. Additionally, the Interlake Mecalux welded pallet rack tear drop add-on units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
