The Interlake Mecalux pallet rack tear drop starter unit measures 96"W x 48"D x 120"H and offers versatility for warehouses with a diverse range of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels, featuring high-strength steel construction and a durable green powder coat finish for the upright frames. The upright frames are designed with tear drop perforations that allow for shelf adjustment in 2" increments, while standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The orange pallet rack beams feature a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, providing a secure connection that is damage and tamper-proof, thus preventing accidental beam displacement during use. A 1-5/8" step within the orange beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories, and extending the pallet rack system is straightforward with additional Interlake Mecalux welded add-on units. The system is designed for easy assembly and is interchangeable with brands such as Global, Wireway/Husky, Unarco, Steel King, USP, Speed Rack, and Invincible. The capacity ratings are based on a 36" beam shelf spacing, and the starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
